According to the decree of the government, January 9, 2025 was announced as a day of mourning in Georgia in honor of those who died as a result of the fire in the village of Saberio, Gali district, in the territory of occupied Abkhazia.
In connection with the day of mourning, state flags are allowed on all administrative buildings of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
