Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Mgebrishvili opened new administrative building of Security Police in Gardabani, where up to 250 policemen will be employed.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Davit Vardiashvili and Deputy Head of Security Police Guram Tomaradze.
Contemporary administrative building of Kvemo Kartli Security Police is equipped with the latest computer technic and inventory. The building will be occupied by operative response and railway security teams. In Gardabani, security police provides protection for up to 70 building.
Ministry of Internal Affairs, with the purpose of refining work environment of the policemen, actively continues various infrastructural projects as well as building and rehabilitation of new buildings.
In 2016-2017 years new security police buildings will be constructed in Terjola, Tchiaatura and Tbilisi, while in Gurjaani, Mestia and Khashuri already existing buildings will be completely rehabilitated.
