"Ambassadorial 2017" program participants and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Mikheil Janelidze visited the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Guests were hosted by the Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Mgebrishvili who showed guests around the high-tech and multi-functional Joint Operations Center.
Joint Operations Center staff familiarized representatives of the Georgian diplomatic missions abroad and the heads of the honorary consulates with the purpose and functions of the center. Visitors got acquainted with work specifics of the center, process of handling traffic movement and detection of administrative violations.
MIA Joint Operations Center provides the following services: prevention of crime, quick response, establishment of the violators and detention, detection of administrative offences and foiling of the crime,maintenance of traffic movement, extraction of incontrovertible evidence, introduction of the latest technologies and monitoring its implementation.
