On July 10 of the current year, Operative Response center “112” was informed that the fire broke out in the shopping center in Poti.
The groups of the Fire and Rescue Division of Emergency Situations Management Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia departed to the site at 06:52, 4 minutes after receiving the notification.
Additional fire-rescue teams from Zugdidi, Senaki, Khobi and Poti were mobilized for rapid liquidation of the fire.
9 fire-rescue crews were involved in fire extinguishing activities.
Based on the scale of the fire, firefighters and rescuers were able to localize fire at 8:29 am and liquidated fire at 09:00.
No one was injured as a result of the fire.
Poti police division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia is conducting investigation under the article 187 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
