The participants discussed topics such as: The functions of the investigative bodies, the investigator, the witness and the victim coordinator; Criminal Procedure Code; Juvenile justice; Primary communication with the alleged victim or witness; Anger management and reasoning mistakes.
The project has been running since 2018 with an active involvement of International Relations Department and will be completed in 2022. The project aims to support the MIA in combating organized crime. The main objectives of the project are: enhancing international law enforcement cooperation, strengthening the capabilities of the Interagency Coordinating Council for Combating Organized Crime, strengthening Analytical Capacities of the MIA, implementing human-rights oriented approaches in the fight against organized crime, combating cybercrime, raising awareness of the dangers caused by organized crime, strengthening MIA Academy etc.
