As a result of the operative response made by the rescuers of Emergency Situations Management Agency the fire on Eliava open market has been extinguished.
112 Emergency Response Center received report that several shops of auto parts located on Eliava open market were cough by fire. As soon as the report was received fire-rescue groups of Emergency Situations Management Agency departed to the place. in order to extinguish fire, up to 150 firemen were at the place.
In spite of scales of the fire, as a result of the operative response made by the rescuers he fire was localized in several hours. Firefighting and rescue teams of the Emergency Situations Management Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were conducting patrolling at the scene all night for prevention reasons.
Investigation is launched under the article 187 of the Criminal Code. The investigation is conducted by Tbilisi Police Department.
