Influential Swiss non-governmental organization- World Economic Forum has published annual report 2017. According to the report Georgia took the 29th position among other countries in terms of security.
In the past years, according to the results of the report, Georgia reached its best result so far. In 2011 the country retained 47th position in the same report. In comparison to the results of 2015, Georgia made progress and took 29th place.
World Economic Forum defines security index in accordance to various criteria, including impact of violence and criminal on business. According to the mentioned index, Georgia is currently on the 23rd place, whereas in 2011 it only took 41st place.
Swiss non-governmental organization - The World Economic Forum (WEF) holds annual meetings in Davos and hosts largest business and political circles, with the involvement of analysts and journalists. Participants of the forum tackle the recent political and business development issues and review the situation in the countries in the angle of security and tourism.
Swiss non-governmental organization publishes report on travel and tourism, evaluating 136 states in this regard.
