With the organization of the Agency of State Reserves and Services of Civil Security of the Emergency Situations Management Service under the Ministry of Internal Affairs and with the involvement of the Georgian Football Federation, a fire-rescue simulation exercise was conducted for the employees of "Batumi Arena" on the main football field in Batumi.
The event included theoretical and practical exercises on the rules of behavior during emergency situations, fire fighting and evacuation of the injured. During the practical training, the employees of the football field boosted their knowledge and experience in the observance of fire-rescue safety measures and actions during emergency situations. Firefighters with special gear and equipment demonstrated all necessary components of action during a fire.
Representatives of various units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and emergency medical assistance center also participated in the exercises, together with the employees of the Fire and Rescue Forces Department.
During the simulation training, 350 people were evacuated.
In the Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, services in the direction of fire and civil safety have been introduced, applied by various organizations through Agency of State Reserves and Services of Civil Security.
