On February 20, at 15:00 pm Ministry of Internal Affairs will present MIA strategy 2014. Presentation will be attended by Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Tchikaidze, other top brass of the Ministry, members of government and representatives from executive and legislative branches of government, diplomatic corps, international organizations and civil sector. MIA strategy will be presented by Reforms and Development Agency Director Irakli Beraia. According to the document, within the recent reforms held in the country, reforming of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will continue and policy of de-politicization, special attention will be paid to human rights protection, level of transparency and accountability, tools of public relations will become more polished, high standard of personal data protection adopted, gender balance improved and legislative initiatives will be introduced.
