Registration For Paid Government Internship Program Is Open
On the initiative of the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, starting in September of current year, graduates and final year students will undergo a 4-month paid internship in various state agencies.
Within framework of the mentioned program, 200 persons will have opportunity to undergo paid internships in various divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in 14 different directions, including:
* Law - 123 positions;
* Human resources management - 8 positions;
* Finance - 16 positions;
* Economics - 5 positions;
* Computer sciences - 8 positions;
* Business administration - 4 positions;
* International relations - 4 positions;
* Social sciences - 2 positions;
* Mathematics and statistics - 3 positions;
* Psychology - 3 positions;
* Information and communication technologies - 7 positions;
* Foreign languages - 2 positions;
* Architecture, engineering, construction, construction engineering, engineering physics, electrical and electronic engineering, engineering logistics, environmental engineering, automation and control systems engineering - 11 positions;
* Any other higher education direction - 4 positions.
Internship applicants will be able to submit an application from August 2 to August 8 through www.hr.gov.ge.
An able-bodied citizen of Georgia, who knows the state language, is in his final undergraduate year or is pursuing a master's degree; or has completed a bachelor's or master's degree in the spring semester of the 2023-2024 academic year can be accepted as an intern;
Selection criteria are based on the academic performance (GPA) and the points system of the applicant. During interviews, candidates with the best academic performances will be prioritized.
Internship applicants must submit a copy of their ID card, a motivation letter, and information about the stage or completion of their studies and academic performances.
The contest will be held in two stages - document selection and interview. According to the results of applicants, decisions to select the best candidates as interns are made by the commission authorized for evaluation.
