Officers of Achara police department, patrol police department and district inspectors of the region have undergone two training courses on the topic of –“Responding on Cases of Domestic Violence” which was held under the support of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL).
At the training, parties discussed best practices of the US law enforcement agencies on handling cases of domestic violence including communication with victims, interrogation technic, investigation of the cases of violence and private safety skills for the police officers.
The training courses have been held by chiefs of police departments of Seattle and Kovington as well as victim coordinators.
During the practical part of the course, American colleagues presented simulated situation on domestic violence and reviewed practical methods of responding on such cases.
