Head of “112” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has hosted media tour in Katchreti for the represtatives of media. In the mentioned event up to 20 journalists of TV, internet and press were involved.
Aim of the media tour was to familiarize journalists on the functions of “112” and to be introduced with completed, ongoing and future plans.
Within the frames of media tour all issues towards which journalists expressed their special interest were discussed, they received comprehensive information on specifics in the operation of “112” reviewed 2013-2014 statistics and were familiarized with activities held by the center to raise the awareness of “112” service and to provide better service to citizens. They also got informed on changes made to the legislation particularly on sanctions which became more severe towards those who make false notification to 112.
“112” represetatives held presentations on interesting issues and additionally media representatives received detailed answers on their questions.
“112” plans to hold similar events I the future for the representatives of media.
