The Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia - Ashot Smbatyan, who started his service from August of this year.
Vakhtang Gomelauri congratulated the Ambassador on the start of his diplomatic mission in Georgia and wished success in future activities.
During the meeting parties discussed existing close and effective police cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries.
Vakhtang Gomelauri expressed hope that with the joint efforts above-mentioned cooperation will be further enhanced.
At the end of the meeting, parties talked about the priorities of future collaboration perspectives.
