The Minister of Internal Affairs - Vakhtang Gomelauri, has completed presenting the report on the activities of the Agency to the Georgian Parliament. Vakhtang Gomelauri discussed in details the reforms implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs last year as well as future plans.
In his speech - Vakhtang Gomelauri, among other important issues, focused on the steps taken in the direction of the fight against crime, international police cooperation and improvement of social guarantees for the employees of the Ministry.
The Minister of Internal Affairs provided answers to the questions of the members of the Parliament. He thanked members of the Parliament for their support and cooperation.
During his closing speech, Vakhtang Gomelauri once again expressed his gratitude towards the Speaker of the Parliament, members of the legislative body and entire staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"I would like to thank you, Mr. Chairman, honorable members of the Parliament, dear opposition. It was in deed a good meeting and I would like to thank everyone.
Once again, I would like to thank all the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, policemen, their families - I know what it is to be and to have a policeman as a family member. I want to thank everyone" - noted Vakhtang Gomelauri.
