Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri, held an introductory meeting with the newly appointed head of Anti-Corruption Bureau - Razhden Kuprashvili.
Vakhtang Gomelauri congratulated the head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau on his appointment and wished him success in his future career.
At the meeting, special emphasis was made on the future plans and priority directions of the Bureau.
Within the framework of the meeting, the parties reviewed the importance of the cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Anti-Corruption Bureau in the process of implementing the anti-corruption policy, and discussed the formation of the cooperation format and coordination mechanisms as well.
Vakhtang Gomelauri noted that the fight against corruption is one of the priority directions of the Ministry and the capacity building of employees in the anti-corruption direction is implemented on the regular basis.
At the end of the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of cooperation between agencies and outlined future plans.
