The Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri, together with the head of the State Security Service - Grigol Liluashvili and other officials, visited the grave of Ivane Golashvili, a Special Forces officer, killed 5 years ago during counter-terrorist special operation.
Vakhtang Gomelauri laid a wreath on the grave of the deceased Special Forces officer, paid tribute to his memory and expressed his condolences to the family members.
On November 21-22, 2017, during the counter-terrorist special operation against Akhmed Chataev and his criminal group, Ivane Golashvili- an employee of the special squad of the State Security Service, was killed on Beri Gabriel Salosi Street in Tbilisi. Four law enforcement officers were also wounded in the course of the special operation.
