Minister of Interior of the Republic of Turkey - Suleyman Soylu, expressed gratitude towards the Government of Georgia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In an official letter, Turkish Minister of Interior expressed gratitude towards his Georgian colleague - Vakhtang Gomelauri, for the assistance and support provided by the employees of the Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia after the devastating earthquake in Turkey.
In his letter of appreciation, the Minister of Interior of Turkey notes that lives of many citizens have been rescued as a result of tireless work of Georgian rescuers.
"Please accept my appreciation for sharing our pain, in connection with destruction and death caused by the earthquakes and for visiting the affected regions and solidarity.
Our people will never forget the assistance provided by Georgia to the whole nation during this tragic period, sharing our pain and showing material and moral support to us.
I would like to take this opportunity to express gratitude to your Excellency, the Georgian government and dedicated Georgian rescuers, the employees of your Ministry, who did not spare themselves during the search operation and saved many lives” – stated Suleyman Soylu in his official letter.
