The guests got acquainted with the structure and specifics of the activities of the Central Criminal Police Department. During the meeting, the parties discussed the current situation in Georgia regarding the areas of organized crime, illegal drug trafficking, combatting cybercrime and other thematic directions.
The director of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the head of the Regional Security Service (RSO) of the United States Embassy and the special representative of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) of the United States Department of Justice discussed the priority areas of existing cooperation and future relations, as well as other ways to strengthen the Department's capabilities within the framework of projects funded by the United States of America.
