MIA representatives held meeting with the upper clases pupils of school “Intellect” within the frames of anti-drug campaign. The senior pupils were familiarized with the goal and significance of the social campaign launched against synthetic drugs. The MIA representatives explained the pupils that the law on “New Psychoactive Substances” drafted by the initiative of the Ministry will be effective on May 1. According to the mentioned law manufacture, produce, purchases, keeping, transportation, transfer or distribution, also illegal taking into or out of the territory of Georgia of a new psychoactive substances will be prohibited and relevantly such actions will be the subject of criminal responsibility. The meeting was held in the questions and answers format.
Head of Isani-Samgori Division of Tbilisi Main Division Viktor Razmadze, along with other representatives of Mia answeret to the interesting questions of pupils. The issues of the hazardous impact of so called “Bio Drugs” were explained by Mr Zurab Sikharulidze, the narcologist.
