At Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Head of Project Management division of MIA International Relations Department- Maka Peradze, took part in the event dedicated to the day against fight with trafficking.
At the meeting representatives of the state agencies presented results and achievements held in the sphere of the fight against trafficking.
Georgia gained significant positive results in the direction of the fight against trafficking which was noted in the report of CE Group of Experts on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings (GRETA) and US State Department’s annual report.
Maka Peradze discussed detection, investigation and prevention measures carried out by MIA with regards to cases of trafficking as well as existed international cooperation in this direction. She also provided students with comprehensive information on trafficking risks and ways of self-protection.
