Lithuanian experts held five-day training course on the issues of combat cybercrime within the framework of the project “Cooperation in the Field of Police of the Eastern Partnership Countries” for the representatives of the Central Criminal Police Department, the Forensic Criminalistics Department, the Academy of the MIA and the State Security Service.
The training focused on the issues of search-seizure-dealing the digital evidences, investigation of child pornography and online financial fraud, cooperation between internet service providers, sharing experience among the law enforcement organs and the relationship with the Europol. The issues related to the introduction of the WEB technologies and their effective use in the investigation were also discussed.
The aim of the “Cooperation in the Field of Police of the Eastern Partnership Countries” is to enhance cooperation and share the experience between the EU and Eastern Partnership countries. At the end of the training, all participants were awarded with the certificates.
