Mr. Merab Malania, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Mr. Zviad Katsashvili, the Director of the Emergency Situations Management Agency along with up to 150 firefighter-rescuers and other employees of the Agency participated in the tree planting action. The event was dedicated to the International Day of the Earth.
Green Action, with the support of Tbilisi City Hall, was carried out in the dendrologic park near Tbilisi Sea. The participants planted 500 seedlings of cypress.
The action aimed at taking care of the environment. The employees of the Emergency Situations Management Agency will continue to care of the new planted trees.
