Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Joanna Wronecka along with the delegation visited the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. Polish guests were met by Deputy Ministers of Internal Affairs – Shalva Khutsishvili and Merab Malania.
Deputy Ministers of Internal Affairs familiarized Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland with recently implemented reforms, ongoing and planned projects at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
At the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation between the two countries, as well as joint events and projects implemented in the emergency management sphere.
JoannaWronecka has expressed gratitude towards the Ministry of Internal Affairs for conducting successful rescue operation in September of the current year on Mount Tetnuldi for saving polish tourists.
At the meeting the fruitful cooperation between MIA Emergency Situations Management Agency and the Main School of Fire Service of Warsaw was pointed out. Polish side expressed the desire to share experience in the field of the civil security and eagerness to enhance cooperation in Emergency situations management.
The meeting was attended by: Director of Emergency Situations Management Agency- Nikoloz Siradze, Ambassador of Poland to Georgia Anjei Chieshkovski, employees of MIA International Relations Department, MIA Emergency Situations Management Agency and Polish Embassy.
