Representatives of the Emergency Situations Management Agency of the Ministry of Internal Afairs of Georgia took part in CRNA GORA-2016 trainings held in Montenegro. The training was organized by Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Center (EADRCC) along with Emergency service of Montenegro.
Practical exercise was attended by 12 employees of the rescue unit under Emergency Situations Management Agency. They were divided into two groups, representing CBRN decontamination and water rescue operation teams.
The exercise was aimed to demonstrate NATO member states and partner countries capacities during large-scale disaster, coordinated response of international rescue units and sharing rescue operations experience.
In the mentioned trainings representatives of more than 30 states and international organizations were involved.
Training organizers positively assessed rescue operations performed by the Georgian team.
After completion of the course training participants received special certificates.
