The rescuers’ group of the Special Emergency Situations Response Division of the Emergency Situations Management Agency of the MIA received two-week mine-rescue qualification raising training in Gudauri. Training was managed by Mr. Giorgi Dzagnidze, Head of the Special Emergency Situations Response Division and his deputy Mr. Davit Shatirishvili.
Training program covered the issues related to the avalanche search works, transfer of a victim by a special stretcher, arrangement of supports in snow and movement of a rescuers’ team on a steep slope.
Training will facilitate the development of rescuers’ professional skills, which will improve their response to the disasters in future.
