The officers of Central National Bureau of Interpol detained person wanted by Turkish law enforcers, citizen of France Halis Aydogan (Dob 1977) when he entered Georgian state border at the port of entry “Batumi Airport” from the the Turksh Republic.
The mentioned person was wanted by Ankara Interpol worldwide from 16 April, 2010 with the aim of his detention and further extradition.
He was accused under the articles 146/3, 59/2, 31 and 33 of the Criminal Code and 5 part of Anti-terror law of Turkey Republic which implies participation in attempt by corporation to alter the constitutional order by force.
At this stage Halis Aydogan is placed at Ajara-Guria temporary detention facility while pre-extradition proceeding are underway.
