Director of the Special Tasks Department of the MIA Special and Emergency Measures Center Lieutenant-Colonel Mindia Lortkipanidze held an introductory meeting with the representatives of the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) in Georgia. Visitors were introduced to the principles of operations of the Department.
During a meeting the sides discussed the importance of the long-term fruitful cooperation between the MIA and the EU Monitoring Mission and set priorities for strengthening cooperation in the future. The EU Monitoring Mission monitors the activities of the Georgian Police forces adjacent to the occupied territories.
