195 conscripts of Special Tasks Department took park in the oath taking ceremony. The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Merab Malania, Director of the Special Tasks Department Mindia Lortkipanidze, staff of the aforementioned Department and family members of the conscripts.
Deputy Minister Merab Malania congratulated conscripts upon the occasion.
In parallel with the event, 104 successful employees of the Special Tasks Department were awarded with the honorable certificates
After the ceremony, family members of the conscripts were able to see living and study conditions.
Conscripts will undergo one-year compulsory military service Strategic Objects Protection Department. They will study military subjects and acquire essential practical skills of professional soldiers. They will also participate in various sports events and will be provided with free medical service and nourishment.
After the completion of the compulsory military service the conscripts having completed the service period with excellence shall be employed in different units of the MIA if they pass the relevant contest successfully.
