Ministry of Internal Affairs announced competition for the logo design of the newly established Joint Operations Center.
MIA launched new project –“Safe City, Safe Region, Safe Country”. The project was initiated in order to ensure crime prevention, immediate reaction on the violation, detection and prevention of the administrative offences, traffic management and gathering incontrovertible evidences.
The project aims to increase high technology role in police activities and improve crime prevention. The project is being implemented by Joint Operations Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which was opened on October 4, 2016 and operates as a centralized technology hub of the agency.
The project envisages installation of the so called smart cameras with video analytical programs in prior defined places of the country. Cameras will be connected to the joint network, monitoring of which will be implemented by video-analytical programs of the Joint Operations Center.
By means of the mentioned project, response on crimes, crime prevention and violations will be made in real-time regime. Safety and protection quality will be increased among people, the index of car accidents will be drastically low as well as the number of injuries and deaths; efficiency of the police activities and quality of investigation will also be increased.
“This reform was initiated for the safety and security of our citizens. Activities of the center are completely transparent and we had a desire to involve the community in the process of its formation. Therefore, we decided to let our citizens make the logo of the Joint Operations Center and announced competition. Author of the best logo design will be rewarded and logo will become the symbol of the new high-tech center”
Conditions of the competition/instructions for creating the logo:
- Topic of the competition- creation of the logo design for the Joint Operations Center;
- competition deadline- three weeks;
- Rewarding the winner- author will be rewarded a week later after revealing the best logo design;
- Prize of the contest- 3000 GEL
Terms of the contest:
1.The logo should reflect the essence of the joint operations center and the functions, it should have the implications that the center is a high-tech, innovative and modern project;
2.Logo should be easily perceptible, easy to remember and positive. The logo should not have any resemblance or identical to the logos of other state institutions, companies;
3.In the creation of the logo design preference will be given to corporate colors of the Ministry (blue and silver);
4.One participant is allowed to submit no more than three variations of the logo design;
5.Competitor should present logo mockups in 2-3 directions;
6.Ministry of Internal Affairs should have exclusive rights on the winner logo design;
7.Competition is open to everyone, the task implies to create the logo in vector images -Adobe Illustrator, Corel and other programs and send it to Lrobaqidze@yahoo.com;
8.The logo with the best design will be revealed by special jury that will evaluate the works under two criterias: visual side and essence
9.The jury will select the best work in a confidential manner following the principles of the competition.
