The foundation meeting of the Alumni Society was held at the MIA Academy. Rector of the Academy Givi Mikanadze attended the meeting and discussed the objectives and future plans of the Society.
All of the 39 first graduates of the master’s program of public law in police regulation were enlisted in the Alumni Society. In the future the other graduates of the MIA Academy will join them.
The Alumni Society will provide engagement of its members in the Academy life and various activities along with sharing experience and establishing business ties.
At the end of the meeting a square was opened in the yard of the MIA Academy, where, on behalf of the first graduates of the master’s program, 39 trees were planted. The campaign of planting trees in the square will become a tradition and all the graduates of the master’s program of the MIA Academy will participate in it.
