The officers of Tkibuli police division of Imereti, Racha-lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti police Department as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained S.Q. (DoB 1954) for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition in large quantities.
During the search activities held in detainee’s house and warehouse policemen seized AKC automatic weapon with 5 magazines, 395 bullets, 2 hand grenades and 3 detonators.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition in large quantities, article 236, II part of the Criminal Code.
