The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department as a result of the investigative activities held on the basis of the operative information detained Zurab V. (DoB 1972) for illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms.
During the personal search of the detainee law enforcers seized 25,72 r of marijuana, while searching his vehicle an unregistered AKC automatic weapon with one cartridge and 23 bullets were found. Drug test revealed that Zurab V. was the consumer of drug substances.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms, article 260, I part and article 236 2 and 3 parts of the Criminal Code.
