The officers of the Isani-Samgori police division of Tbilisi Police Department as a result of operative-investigative activities detained previously convicted Davit M. (DoB 1988) in Tbilisi for illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms.
During the searching activities held in the vehicle of the detainee law enforcers seized „Baikal MP-654“ pneumatic pistol, knife and „Haenel Shmeiser“ pistol, which according to the conclusion of the expertise fall under the firearms category and are suitable for shooting.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms and carrying of the cold steel by previously convicted person, under the article 236, III and III parts and article 238, II part envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
