As a result of jointly conducted operative-searching and investigative activities the officers of Samtckhe-Javakheti regional main division and first division of Counterterrorist Center of Mia detained Levon.K (Dob 1980) for illicit purchase,keeping, carrying, transfer and selling of firearms in Akhaltcikhe.
Investigation revealed that on the ground of illicit deal, for a certain amount of money detainee assisted citizens to purchaze firearms. Citizens signed above mentioned firearms on themselves and then Levon K. managed to sale them for the second time.
During the searching activities conducted at the house of detainee the law enforcers seized “Beretta” system pystol, “Taurus” system pystol, “Glock” system pistol and “Girsan” system pystol which were ready for realization.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms, article 236, I,II and III parts of Criminal Code.
