The officers of Khobi police division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Regional Main Division as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained Vakhtang L. (DoB 1955) for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition.
During the searching activities held in detainee’s house, police officers seized AKM automatic weapon with five cartridges and 146 bullets, 1 revolver and with 22 bullets, one knife and one round-shaped cartridge. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition, article 236, I part of the Criminal Code.
