The officers of Ajara Regional Main Division as a result of operative-investigative activities detained Lasha G. (DoB 1977) in Kobuleti for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition.
During the searching activities held in the detainee’s house law enforcers seized AK-74 automatic weapon with two cartridges, Magnum pistol with one cartridge and 6 bullets and pneumatic revolver.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition, article 236, I part of the Criminal Code.
