The officers of the Tbilisi Police Department and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti police Department as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained R.A (doB 1995) in Poti for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that on July 16 detainee inflicted lethal injury in throat area to his cousin A.KH. (DoB 1998) with a cold steel. The incident took place in the house located on Uznadze Street, Tbilisi after which he fled from the place of crime.
Law enforcers detained R.A. on the second day after the crime took place. The weapon of crime was seized by police officers as evidence.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
