The officers of the Kobuleti police division of Ajara police department along with Guria police department as a result of jointly held operative-searching and investigative activities detained previously convicted Temur Kh. (DoB 1989) Rezo Kh. (DoB 1988) Vazha Kh. (DoB 1981) and Manuchar T. (Dob 1981) for restricting freedom illegally committed by the group.
Investigation established that on November 11 Temur Kh. forced Aneta G. to leave her work place under the pressure of the firearm and illegally restricted her freedom along with his accomplices. She was taken to one of the houses in Ozzurgeti where she was deprived to move freely for several hours.
As a result of the immediate operative-searching and investigative activities law enforcers detained the mentioned persons in Ozurgeti several hours later after the crime took place. During the personal search of Temur Kh. and Rezo Kh. Policemen seized 2 firearms, 11 bullets and 2 cartridges as evidence. Drug expertise established that Manuchar T. was the consumer of marijuana.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal restriction of freedom in group, while investigation against Temur Kh. and Rezo Kh. is in progress o the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms, article 143, II part, sub-paragraph A and article 236, II and III parts of the Criminal Code.
