Officers of Batumi City Division of Adjara Main Division, the MIA, as a result of the operative-investigational measures, detained Mindia Ts. – D.o.B.: 1982 – on September 8, this year in the vicinity of Sarpi checkpoint for illicit purchase, keeping of drugs and its illicit import to Georgia in especially large quantities.
The law enforcers seized 1 pack of drug containing 0,0212 gr. of Buprenorphine during the personal search of the detainee. The narco test showed the fact of abusing of s.c. “Bio”, Buprenorphine and marijuana by the detainee.
The investigation is in progress over the crime of illicit purchase, keeping of drugs and its illicit import to Georgia in especially large quantities (sub clause “a” of the 3rd part of the article 260, sub clause “a” of the 2nd part of the article 262 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
