The officers of Gurjaani police division of Kakheti Regional Main Division as a result of operative-investigative activities detained representative of Kvareli local governance in the village of Gremi- Giorgi Ghutishvili (DoB 1956) for falsification in service.
Investigation established that detainee issued fake documentation during the vintage, when grapes bids were received by the factories. Giorgi Ghutishvili issued fake documents of receiving 108 tons of grapes by which fiscally damaged several wine factories in Kakheti region. The amount of damage has totaled 81 000 GEL.
As a result of operative-investigative activities Giorgi Ghutishvili was detained in Gurjaani as a result of operative-investigative activities.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of falsification in service, article 341 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
