The officers of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department along with Special and Emergency Measures Center, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti division as a result of the investigative activities held in the basis of the operative information detained members of the criminal group: beka Q. (DoB 1995) Mamuka G. (DoB 1982) in Tchaladidi village, Khobi region.
During the personal search of the detainee policemen seized AKm automatic weapon with one cartridge and 30 bullets, „ADLER-2003 LIGHT” pistol with one cartridge and 6 bullets, 2 masks and 4 pairs of gloves and scotch tape. Detainees have already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms , article 236, II and III parts of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
