The officers of Kakheti Regional Main Division as a result of investigative activities detained two times convicted in past-Zurab T. (DoB 1988) for premeditated murder and previously convicted Andria Sh. (DoB 1967) for non-reporting the crime.
Investigation established that late at night on February 2, 2014 Zurab T. inflicted body injuries to Teona Ts. on the basis of conflict that took place in the house owned by Andria Sh. After the conflict Zurab T. fled from the crime scene. Teona Ts. die in several hours as a result of injuries sustained during the conflict. The crime was witnessed by Andria Sh. who did not report to the police regarding the mentioned fact.
Law enforcers managed to detain Zurab T. as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities in Sarpi, while Andria Sh. was detained in Telavi.
Zurab T. has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation against Zurab T. is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder and investigation against Andria Sh. is in progress on the fact of non-reporting the crime (articles 108 and 376 respectively, envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
