Employees of Rustavi City Division of Kvemo Kartli Regional Main Division of the MIA, as a result of the searching-investigational measures conducted on the basis of the operative information detained Saba G. – D.o.B.: 1996 – for stealing.
The investigation showed that the accused stole 2 CPUs from the scrap collection office and ferrous metal from the yard of the office in Davit Gareji street, Rustavi. Saba G. concealed the stolen items in the abandoned place far from the office and escaped from the scene. The investigation also established that the accused sold one of the CPUs in Tbilisi and the other one brought to a pawn shop.
As a result of investigational and searching measures, the law enforcers detained Saba G. in his relative’s flat in Gamarjveba village, Gardabani region in several days. Police officers seized the stolen items as evidences. The detainee pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress over the fact of stealing (sub clauses “a” and “b” of the 2nd part of the article 177, Criminal Code of Georgia).
