The officers of Kvemo Kartli Regional Main Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of operative-investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained convicted in past and currently on probation Giorgi M. (DoB 1976) in Rustavi for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that detainee inflicted body injuries to his neighbor – Ilia B. (DoB 1970) on the basis of conflict that took place on Tordia Street, Rustavi. Due to the received injuries the victim died at the place of crime.
Giorgi M. was detained as a result of investigative activities several hours later after committing the crime. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
