The officers of Zugdidi Division of Samgrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained Koba P. (DoB: 1974) in Khobi for theft.
The investigation established that the detainee in the village Chitatskari, Zugdidi region, along with his accomplices secretly entered the storehouse of the private company and illegally took a possession over a truck, which was loaded with various types of alcoholic beverage.
The law enforcers during the search of a house and facilities located in the yard of a detainee seized 2925 bottles of alcoholic beverage as material evidences. Police found an abandoned vehicle in Zugdidi. Operative-investigational activities aimed at identification and arrest of other individuals involved in the crime are in progress.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of theft (part II, sub paragraph “a” and part IV, sub-paragraph “b” of the Article 177 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
