The officers of Vake-Saburtalo police division as a result of immediate operative-investigative activities detained G.S. (DoB 1972) for the attempted stealing, stealing and illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition.
Law enforcers detained the mentioned person when he attempted to rob citizen’s apartment located in Tbilisi.
During the personal search and search activities held in detainee’s house policemen seized Nagan revolver, 7 bullets, TT pistol with one magazine and 8 bullets, Zigzauer pistol with two magazines and 17 bullets and 97 bullets for various types of arms. Policemen also seized: special equipment for breaking doors, keysm jewelry, mobile phone two watches and etc.
Detainee admitted having robbed 5 more apartments in April-May period.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of attempted stealing, stealing and illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition.
