Officers of Anti-corruption Agency of MIA and general inspection of the Ministry of Corrections and Probation as a result of jointly held operative-searching and investigative activities detained officer of probation Agency of Ministry of Corrections and Probation Koshkar Osmanov for bribery.
Investigation established that on March 22, 2014 Koshkar Osmanov, while fulfilling his duties, demanded 1800 GEL from the probationer Elvin G. for the permit to leave the country for three months. The mentioned crime was committed by the detainee by misusing his official authority.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of bribery, article 338, I part of the Criminal Code. The committed crime envisages from6 to 9 years of imprisonment.
