The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department as a result of operative-searching activities detained D.KH. (DoB 1989) in Tbilisi.
During the personal search of the detainee law enforcers seized 2 packages of the drug substance, containing 0,1626gr. of buprenorphine.
Laboratory test revealed that D.Kh. had used buprenorphine.
According to the acting legislation, detainee has undergone medical examination before he was placed in temporary detention isolator. Examination revealed that detainee had redness on the left side of the forehead and wrists, which was caused by the handcuffs. Detainee had no other injuries when he was placed at the temporary detention isolator which is also confirmed by photos taken at the facility.
During examination of the detainee it was also established that detainee had a criminal record envisaging theft (article 177) and illegal purchase and keeping of drugs for the personal use (article 273).
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, VI part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
