On the basis of the relevant order of the Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Tchikaidze, activities on destruction of drugs was held simultaneously in Samtskhe-Javakheti, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Kvemo Kartli, Shida Kartli, Ajara, Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi and kvemo Svaneti regions. Employees of the regional division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs destructed wild hemp in accordance with existing regulations.
Law enforcers destructed 28 tons and 373 kg of the drug containing plant seized from nearby territories of the villages located in various regions of the country.
The process of destruction was attended by chiefs of regional police divisions and other representatives of the Ministry.
