The officers of Kvemo Kartli regional main division as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained two persons in Marneuli for theft. The detainees are: previously convicted for illegal purchase and keeping of firearm, Imran A. (DoB 1965) and preveiously convicted for theft, Samir K. (DoB 1990).
Investigation established that in August-September period detainees stole 10 calves and 7 cows in the village of Akaurta, Bolnisi district and sold them in Tetritskaro. Investigation also established that Imran A. was under the probationary sentence in the moment of committing the crime.
As a result of investigative activities law enforcers found the cattle and returned to the owners. Detainees have already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of theft committed in , article 177, II and III parts, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
